How to screen record on Windows?

To screen record on Windows, you can use the built-in Xbox Game Bar or a third-party application. Here’s how to use both methods:

Using Xbox Game Bar:

1. Open the Xbox Game Bar: Press Windows + G on your keyboard.
2. Start Recording:
   • Click on the "Capture" widget (if it’s not visible, you can find it in the "Widgets" menu).
   • Click the Record button (the circle) or press Windows + Alt + R to start recording.
3. Stop Recording: To stop, click the stop button on the recording timer or press Windows + Alt + R again.
4. Find Your Recording: By default, recordings are saved in the Videos > Captures folder.

Using a Third-Party Application:

1. OBS Studio:

   • Download and install OBS Studio.
   • Open OBS, set up a new scene, and add a source (like Display Capture or Window Capture).
   • Click Start Recording to begin, and Stop Recording to finish.

2. ShareX:

   • Download and install ShareX.
   • Open ShareX, and click on Capture > Screen Recording.
   • Choose the area you want to record, and it will start recording.
